Adam Carroll and I want to invite you to join us and some of our songwriting friends in Concan, Texas this August for a small gathering we’ve been putting on for seven years now called the Frio River Song Festival. (To give you an idea of what it’s like, here are pictures from years’ past).
6 songwriters, including Jamie Wilson, Walt Wilkins, Owen Temple, Travis Linville, Jason Eady, Adam Carroll and myself, are playing two shows that weekend on August 9 & 10.
On Friday, August 9th, we’ll host an acoustic cabin concert songswap show by the river that is open to you email list subscribers only. This show is our thanks to you guys who keep in touch and help us spread the word about shows all year long. We appreciate it.
On Saturday, August 10th, we’ll put on a band show featuring songs from the above songwriters at the House Pasture Cattle Company. Tickets for this show will be available online and at the door.
Passes and tickets go on sale to the public on May 20, but you guys on the email list get the first priority and the first shot at them. With the Two Day Passes you get a reservation for the Friday night acoustic show and for the Saturday night show at House Pasture Cattle Company.
