AUDITED 1 Oct 2026 - PRIMARY NAME NOW 'Mary', SURNAME UNKNOWN (Owen, round-9 triage); 'Mary McDermott Plunkett' is kept as an alternate. No record read by this project attests her name or the McDermott surname, and the 1 Oct 2026 agent report (agent-report-1601-mary-mcdermott-plunkett-2026-10-01.md) found none on the free web; it came in with an early import, uncited. Wife of [1660] Patrick Plunkett, whose descent from [1602] James Plunkett of Dunsoghly is disproven (see [1660]). A lead for Patrick, not yet read: Christian Slieker's thesis on the 1641 rising in north-east Connacht is reported to name a Captain Patrick Plunkett as the only Plunkett rebel for the barony of Boyle.
