AUDITED 8 Aug 2026 - CREATED as husband of [2637] Ann Brooke 'Nancy' Temple, from the heirs' deed (film 008689500 imgs 2245-2248): 'John S Barret and Ann B Barret his wife' among the grantor-heirs of [535] Col. Benjamin Temple; signed 'John S Barret' with seal (img 2246); the pair acknowledged at King William court 23 Jul 1811, she under privy examination. Probably the 'Dr. John Barrett' whose wife 'Nancy Temple' appears in the 1835 Hanover certification of the Baylor heirs (Burgess III:1013, register B29) - same wife, styled there without the initial. NOT the tree's unrelated Baltimore/New York Barrett line ([463]).
