Audited 21 Aug 2026 - Mother of Mary Langley (wife of Samuel Temple of Bishopstrow), on the PRIMARY instruments of the 20 Jun 1722 marriage settlement, WSHC 132/23, read on the images 21 Aug 2026: the settlement recites the marriage intended between Samuel Temple and 'Mary Langley Spinster Daughter of the said Anne Langley'; the 19 Jun 1722 lease names her 'Anne Langley of Warminster, widow'; her own signature 'Ann Langley' and seal stand among the seven on the settlement; and Samuel's 600-pound jointure bond of the same date runs to Anne Langley + William Wilton. HER HUSBAND (Mary's father) IS UNNAMED ANYWHERE in the eight deeds - a dead-end recorded, not guessed. Widow by Jun 1722; no other vitals known. ProofMother set 1 on Mary on the settlement's daughter clause. Created 21 Aug 2026 at Owen's direction.
