AUDITED 12 Oct 2026 - CELIA (FOKES) WATKINS, born 26 Sep 1820 (Find a Grave index, Colemans Chapel, K1014), married Silas Watkins in Jefferson County, Georgia, on 29 Nov 1840 (marriage index, K1014). She is the wife in his household as Celia, 31, in 1850 and Cealy, 40, in 1860 (both index only, K1013), and as Clarra, 50, in 1870 (K1012). The 1880 census names his wife Rebecca, 60 (K1011). That is read as the same woman, for the reasons set out in [3420] Eben's note, which is where the argument for her as his mother is made. Only [3420] is attached as her child in this tree. Her death date and her parents are not yet read.
