DERIVATIVE - INFORMANT TESTIMONY OF 1950. READ THIS PARAGRAPH BEFORE THE LINEAGE BELOW. This is SAR supplemental application no. 71449, sworn by the applicant in 1950, and it is the SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE for rings 4, 5, 6 and 7 of this cone. EVERY DATE IN IT MATCHES THIS TREE EXACTLY, TO THE DAY. That is NOT corroboration - the most economical explanation is that this application, or a common ancestor-source behind it, IS WHERE THE TREE'S DATA CAME FROM. Attaching it converts an uncited assertion into a CITED DERIVATIVE ASSERTION: a real gain in bookkeeping and NO GAIN IN PROOF. NO ProofFather/ProofMother flag may be raised anywhere on the strength of this document. AND ITS OWN AUTHORITY HAS BEEN CHECKED AND FAILS. The application's authorities page cites ONE book (K304), and that book DOES NOT CONTAIN THE WOODALL OR MILES GENERATIONS AT ALL - verified in the launcher with 'Woodall' 0, 'Texana' 0, 'Polly Key' 0, 'Dollahite' 0, against controls returning 3158 and 250 (K307). Generations (2) and (3) below therefore rest on the 1950 applicant's UNSOURCED SAY-SO. Precedent for exactly this shape: K175, SAR application 74540 of 1952, whose cited authority proved to be a patriot-SERVICE list naming no wife, no dates and no children. COLLINS, JR., descendant of ABRAHAM KUYKENDALL; applicant born 9 Feb 1918: (1) son of Carr P. Collins b. 5-12-1892 and wife Elza Ruth Woodall b. 1-24-1892, m. 11-21-1914 (2) grandson of James D. Woodall b. 11-21-1853 d. 4-22-1922 and wife Laura Texana Miles b. 1-30-1858 d. 2-19-1918, married 1877 (3) great grandson of William Miles b. 4-12-1828 d. 9-10-1910 and wife Nancy Kuykendall b. 11-22-1825 d. 4-15-1893 (4) great-2 grandson of John Kuykendall b. c. 1790 and wife Polly Key b. c. 1799, m. c. 1812 (5) great-3 grandson of Matthew Kuykendall, Sr. b. 1765 d. 8-15-1841 and wife Nancy Johnson b. 1765 d. 1825, married 1780 (6) great-4 grandson of Abraham Kuykendall b. 10-18-1719 d. 1795, married 1743 Index fields on the collection record page: role 'Ancestor'; application date 7 Jul 1950; spouse 'Laura Texana Miles'; children 'Elza Ruth Woodall'. SCOPE - WHAT IT DOES NOT TOUCH: the lineage reaches [3] James D. Woodall ONLY AS A HUSBAND. It says nothing whatever about [5] Ryal Barber Woodall and therefore does not bear on [3]'s own parentage. The document that looked like the Woodall answer is a Miles/Kuykendall answer. This same transcript is written on all six citations of this one document (C12, C15, C16, C20, C22, C23) - they are ONE application, not six sources.
