AUDITED 21 Aug 2026 - SAME-FAMILY DUPLICATE MERGED. Edward Arnold appeared TWICE as a child of the same family F266 (Anthony Arnold x Joanna, New Kent Co., Va.) - the classic died-young-name-reuse shape, but the two records carry the IDENTICAL death, 22 Sep 1752, Louisa Co., Va. (in RootsMagic and on both Ancestry pages), so they are one man. PRESERVED, not adjudicated: the deleted copy [547] (Ancestry profile 6894590100, retired by this push - verify it is gone) recorded his BIRTH as 1650, New Kent, against this record's 8 Mar 1677, New Kent. Both are uncited. The 1677 reading was kept as the standing field (age 75 at death, vs 102 for 1650; his father Anthony died 15 Mar 1677, a week after the 1677 date - a posthumous-adjacent birth, plausible); 1650 remains a live competing claim until a record decides it. LEAD, same family: F266 also holds TWO Anthony Arnolds ([540] b. 1659 with a rendered death of 1774 = age 115, clearly defective; [542] b. 1663 d. 1747) - the same duplication shape, queued on the board.
