Learning to dance and my music on cassette tape

When my mom was a kid, she learned to dance at Schroeder Hall. Me and Adam Carroll are playing a show there on Thursday night, and I never learned to dance anywhere, but: I never say never. So I am saying: There is a chance that I am going to learn to dance at Schroeder Hall on Thursday night while playing a song at Schroeder Hall.

Speaking of chances, you have definitely missed your chance to own this. It is the last one in my possession from a printing in 1997 and I’m gonna hold on to it:

But at shows over the next few weeks in Austin, San Marcos, Buda, Tomball, and Galveston, you DO have a chance to get my music on vinyl LP, as we will have on hand a limited second pressing of Mountain Home and Stories They Tell LPs.  If we won’t see you in person, and you’d like to give a vinyl album (or a good old fashioned compact disc) as a gift, we can pack it up safe and ship it to your place.

Speaking of packages and bundles, The Temple Family is expecting a new bundle of joy in January, so we’re excited and busily debating names. (The hardest part about picking names for a baby is, the longer you’ve been around, the more potential names get disqualified because one of you met a jerk who went by that name.) But we can do this!  We’ll make sure we got a good name ready…
