After I visited Hemingway’s Key West home, I read his Islands in the Stream- “I love the sea and would not be anywhere else. She has beauty and great mystery.” Jimmy Buffett called her “Mother, Mother Ocean.”
A few months later, from the deck of a boat, looking at a straight line blue horizon, I understood. I wrote this song with Walt Wilkins.
