HYPERBOLIUM REVIEWS ‘STORIES THEY TELL’
Hyperbolium posted another thoughtful review of the new album ‘Stories They Tell’
Owen Temple is a singer-songwriter with a sociologist’s eye. His third collaboration with producer Gabriel Rhodes extends a string of albums that looks at people, society and the interrelationship between the two.
Owen recently spoke to Brian T. Atkinson of CMT Edge about the new album, Stories They Tell:
Owen Temple’s folky masterwork Stories They Tell showcases a sharp storyteller in peak form. CMT Edge spoke with Temple about the excellent new collection, his approach to narrative songwriting and life in Austin.
“There’s a wealth of great songwriters here, specifically in roots and folk music,” he says. “There’s a great, supportive community in Austin focused on well-being. It’s a healthy place for creative people.”
