Abilene is in the old stomping grounds of the American bison, and the bison is the spirit animal of Lone Star Dry Goods Icehouse in Abilene. So when I play a show there next week on the 5th, I’m bringing this sketch/watercolor I made to donate to the #erasekidcancer fundraiser they’re hosting. (Prints of this available here).
Matt Hillyer and I, Chris Knight, Drew Kennedy and Josh Grider, and Jackopierce are all playing shows there in September as part of this acoustic music series benefiting Cook Children’s.
