In Oklahoma City on Friday night I’ll be at The Blue Door (tickets here) and a week later Adam Carroll will be there. I will be burying a time capsule on the stage to be opened up by Adam 7 days later in the future. I will enclose artifacts from the 4th weekend of June 2024 to be marveled at by the people of the 5th weekend of June 2024 so that they appreciate our culture and times. So far, items in the time capsule are: beef jerky, smoked salmon, a gold album with a sampling of sounds from Earth, 20-page illustrated manual on how to do this week’s TikTok dance, Owen Temple T-Shirt.
