(b. c. 1670, d. before 10 Nov 1698, whose wife was Dorothy (North) Awbrey) to his brother Francis Gouldman: the death 'Nov 1716, Essex' is the month Francis's will (dated 9 Jan 1715/16) was proved, and the wife attached here, Mary Meador, was Francis's wife (widow of Henry Awbrey; Francis left no issue). BLANKED 7 Oct 2026: the Nov 1716 death. Mary Meador was deleted from this family the same day and the 1685 marriage blanked. KEPT: the name, the c. 1670 birth and the link to [1947] Elizabeth, so the question stays in the tree. Every pre-1692 'Essex' place here is anachronistic (the county was formed in 1692 from Old Rappahannock). PARENTS: compiled accounts (Pierce-Vaubel, Stickels and others, one voice) give Capt. Thomas Gouldman (c. 1640 - Dec 1684) and Alice, 'said to be Awbrey' - a surname its own compiler flags. Held, not entered (Owen, 7 Oct 2026). The Keeling parentage offered for Capt.
