Research note · 7 Oct 2026
AUDITED 7 Oct 2026 - MOTHER SLOT EMPTIED; WHOSE DAUGHTER SHE WAS IS THE OPEN QUESTION (round-10 triage, Owen). Her recorded mother, Mary Meador, was deleted 7 Oct 2026: every source found marries Mary Meador to FRANCIS Gouldman, who left no issue, and her recorded father [2340] is a composite of Francis and his brother Thomas Jr. (see [2340]). Francis Gouldman's will (dated 9 Jan 1715/16, proved Nov 1716) is reported to call Elizabeth Waring his 'kinswoman', not his daughter (agent-report-2261-mary-meador-2026-10-07.md; not yet read on the image). Her GOULDMAN surname is independent of all this: a 1742 Essex deed names Thomas Waring's wife as Elizabeth Gouldman (register K14), and [1760]'s note carries it too. Her father is held as [2340] Thomas, ungraded. Next documents: Thomas Gouldman Jr.'s inventory, Essex court 11 Aug 1699; Francis Gouldman's will and Mary Gouldman's will (30 Jan 1716/17), both in the Essex 'Deeds, Wills, etc.' series (register K50) - NOT Will Book 14, which is 1785-91 (register K9).
