AUDITED 7 Oct 2026 - FATHER CANDIDATE SAMUEL HATCHER, NOT ENTERED (round-10 triage, Owen). Bell (1961) abstracts Samuel Hatcher's will, Chesterfield Co. Will Book 1 p. 382 (28 Nov 1762), as naming 'Tabitha Bass, dau.', with Bell's own query '(w. of Henry?)'. The 7 Oct 2026 agent report (agent-report-2357-tabitha-hatcher-2026-10-07.md) narrows the field without closing it: Josiah Hatcher (d. 1762) names no Tabitha; Henry Hatcher III (WB 1 p. 380) has none on the FamilySearch shared tree (not read); Samuel Sr. is in the 1762 Chesterfield tithables with sons Charles and Edward. Graded LIKELY, held. Deciding record: WB 1 p. 382 on the image (FS catalog 417637), with WB 1 p. 380 in the same sitting. Birthplace corrected 7 Oct 2026 from 'Dale City' (a modern Prince William Co. place) to Dale Parish, Chesterfield; the death place 'Yes,,,' was an import error and was cleared.
