READ ON THE MANUSCRIPT 19 Aug 2026 (Ancestry img 4244801-00331; Precinct 6, Travis Co., Tex., ED 128, enumerated ~15 Jun 1880; crop in ancestry/sources/porter-lydia-1880-travis-2026-08-19/): dwelling 198 / family 207: 'Smith, Lydia A.' W F 35, head, widowed, keeping house, b. Indiana, FATHER b. INDIANA, MOTHER b. INDIANA; then Craig, William 19 Son farm laborer; Mary A. 17 Daughter; Charles 14 Son - all b. Indiana, each child's father-birthplace column reading Pa. (a conflict with Thomas Craig [259]'s Indiana association in this tree; recorded, not resolved). The next line opens dwelling 199 (Young, Hugh, b. Mississippi), so the household is bounded on the page: [3189] William L. Porter is NOT co-resident - a scoped negative for the F751 lottery. Her parent-birthplace entries are informant statements, and they are the only record-class statement of [3189]/[3190]'s birthplaces this tree holds (both carry zero citations). NOTE the Ancestry index groups the two teenage MARTIN children of dwelling 197 into her highlight - an index quirk, not household membership. Register K227.

AUDITED 19 Aug 2026 - HER CITED 1880 PAGE READ ON THE MANUSCRIPT (register K227): father [3189] NOT co-resident, and the row carries the FIRST statement of her parents' birthplaces - BOTH INDIANA. The 1880 census (Precinct 6, Travis Co., Tex., ED 128, dw 198/fam 207, img 4244801-00331) enumerates 'Smith, Lydia A.' 35, head, widowed, keeping house, b. Indiana, father b. Indiana, mother b. Indiana, with Craig children William 19, Mary A. 17, Charles 14 and NO ONE ELSE - the next line opens dwelling 199. F751 stays 0/0 (no relationship evidence toward her parents). The parent-birthplace entries are informant statements, the only record-class statement about [3189] William L. Porter and [3190] Lucinda this tree holds (both carry zero citations). Conflict recorded, not resolved: all three Craig children's father-birthplace columns read Pa., against [259] Thomas Craig's Indiana association in this tree (F162 census chain). By Jun 1880 she appears under SMITH, widowed - the second marriage (F164) had already ended. Full household table: ancestry/sources/porter-lydia-1880-travis-2026-08-19/NOTES.md.
