Audited 27 Jul 2026. BOTH PARENTS EVIDENCED. Death certificate, Refugio Co., 3 Jan 1929, B.O.V.S. 6225, image 40394_b061978-00730 (Texas, U.S., Death Certificates, 1903-1982 (Ancestry coll. 2272)): field 10 FATHER = 'Thomas Craig' (b. Penn.); field 12 MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME = 'Annie Porter' (b. Ind.); her own birthplace Indiana. This is the FIRST evidence of any kind in this tree for Thomas Craig, who carried zero citations. Corroborated by her son's 1944 certificate, which independently gives his mother's birthplace as Indiana.
