Enjoy every sunset. Sometimes we get to see one over a large body of water, and it’s impossible to photograph or paint it or sing about it in all its glory, but we keep trying. Here’s a painting I finished recently, and I’ll sing ‘Watch it Shine’ at Dosey Doe on Friday. Excited to report that the great songwriter Gretchen Peters (she wrote ‘Independence Day’) recorded a stunning version of that song that Walt Wilkins and I wrote. Her recording (and Drew Kennedy’s) are audio paintings- great soundtracks for the daily show.
