I think Sam Houston would like the Mucky Duck in the city named after him.
I’ll be playing a show there in a week, and I hope he’d like the song Adam Carroll and I wrote about him. After all, we did research, skimming through several comic books and graphic novels about Old Sam to finish it. And through our trusted contacts, we even gathered information from the gift shop ladies at the statue in Huntsville. I’ll play his song and other songs while I’m at the Duck and I’ll squint my eyes and imagine him at a table singing along with us.
