A new studio album “Stories They Tell’ and a live album from Owen Temple

Hello friends,

I am excited to announce an idea we’ve been working on for awhile now-

I am looking to team up with some friends to make a new studio album AND a new live album, and I need YOUR help to pull it off.

I have 40 days to raise the funds to make these albums, and the clock is ticking now! I recorded a video in my backyard and at the recording studio to explain the idea-

I am looking for a small group of people who love music enough to help me make a 7th studio album called ‘Stories They Tell.’

The 11 songs me and my friends wrote for this album add up to a kind of a retrospective, big picture look at what humans have been doing over the last 10,000 years. Making tools and stuff, forming relationships based on power, money, and/or love, and, most importantly, telling stories of how it all went down.

The album will include songs I wrote with Adam Carroll, Gordy Quist (of the Band of Heathens), A.J. Roach, Clay McClinton, and Paul Cauthen and David Beck (of Sons of Fathers).

Everybody that pledges for this studio album project will get a limited edition CD copy of a live album I recorded with my band at the Saxon Pub in Austin, Texas. This live album will only be available to pledgers.

A portion of the proceeds after successful funding of the project will go to “Soldier Songs and Voices” to provide free songwriting and music lessons to veterans and active duty military.

Thanks so much for considering being a part of this with me!
