She died 26 Apr 1934, Kaufman Co., Texas - the 'death date UNKNOWN' line below is superseded. AUDITED 22 Aug 2026 — THE 1878 DEATH IS DEMOTED, NOT DELETED, AND [39]'s MOTHER IS THE RIGHT PERSON. No re-parenting; nothing detached. This began as a suspected second namesake collision on the Woodall-Ramsay side, under a ring-3 direct ancestor. The worst case would have been that two women were conflated and that [39] Sudie Mattie Pace's mother was the WRONG PERSON — the [136] Annie Belle Watkins failure class, which reached the published site before it was caught. ★ IT DID NOT MATERIALISE. Two records settle it, both read on the image: [39]'s 1976 Texas death certificate, item 14, 'Lenora Dent', informant her own son; and the 1900 census, Justice Precinct 5, Shelby Co., Texas — 'Lanora', wife, b. Jan 1852, matching this person's recorded birth to the month, in one household with [198] and [39]. ⛔ GRADE, STATED HONESTLY. A census household is CORROBORATION, not a direct parentage statement, and on this project's grading it does not by itself set a proof flag. The certificate's item 14 is a child's statement about his grandmother. NO PROOF FLAG IS SET BY THIS WRITE; F131's ChildTable rows are untouched. ⚠️ ONE THING NOT VERIFIED: an agent reported the 1900 line as 'married 26 years' and '8 children born / 8 living'. Those columns are at the edge of legibility in the crop that was re-read. The NAME, the relationship 'wife' and the Jan 1852 birth were verified; the fertility columns were not, and nothing here rests on them. CONSEQUENCE: her death date is now UNKNOWN. The refuted 19 Nov 1878 / Sabine claim is preserved verbatim in the death event's own note. PARENTS, 30 Sep 2026 (register K917-K920). Her Texas death certificate, no. 18877, read on the image, gives: Lenora N. Pace, wife of Rev. I. F. Pace, born Jan 1st 1852 in Georgia, died 26 Apr 1934 in Kaufman County; father "Richard Dent"; mother's maiden name "Walker"; both parents' birthplaces not known; informant her son Frank Pace of Crandall. The candidate family, from FamilySearch indexes whose images are not yet read: Richard H. Dent married Elizabeth Walker in Wilkes Co., Ga., 28 Dec 1841. In 1870 their household at Cusseta, Chattahoochee Co., Ga., includes Leonora V., 17, with John T., 22, and Elizabeth E., 15. The 1939 Texas death record of Eller Elizabeth Tatum Solly, born 9 Jun 1855, names her parents as R. H. Dent and Elizabeth Walker. In 1900 Richard H. Dent, born Apr 1818 in Georgia, lives with his son John T. Dent in Justice Precinct 4, Sabine County, Texas, the county where this couple's children were born. The only other Georgia Richard Dent of his age (born about 1821, Muscogee Co., wife May A.) has no daughter of her age in his 1860 household.
