Page 0011, the Answer of the Infants, read on the image, verbatim: "The answer of [struck: Joseph Wilson] WILLIAM B. WHITE, ADELINE M. WHITE, ARGINIA ANNE WHITE, PERMELIA E. WHITE, MARY S. WHITE, HILLARY A. WHITE, & SARAH F. WHITE - Infant children & distributees of JACOB W. WHITE dec'd, by Joseph Wilson the commissioner of this court specially assigned the guardian, to a bill of complaint exhibited in this worshipful court against them & others, by FOUNTAIN HAWKINS & SELINA HIS WIFE FORMERLY SELINA [struck] WHITE... they say that they are infants of under years & not to be supposed to know any thing about the truth or falsehood of the said bill." The same seven infants appear as a closed, identically-ordered list on pages 0005 and 0018 as well - three times, in demonstrably different hands. WHAT IT SETTLES: the eldest daughter's name is SELINA, spelled so in at least four hands and glossed twice as 'formerly Selina White'. 'Celine Catherine' appears NOWHERE. And HILLARY A. WHITE is named ONCE PER LIST in three lists - consistent with a single child, which is the evidence for the [2524]/[2525] merge. ⛔ WHAT IT DOES NOT SETTLE: the cause contains NO birth date, age or birth order for anyone, so it can neither confirm nor refute 'Catherine' or b. 18 Oct 1813. It gives 'A.' only, never 'Alexander'. And a record naming one Hillary is not a record denying a second. ⚠️ TRAP: Peter, Rachel, Maria, Sylvia, Jourdan and Andrew (with a struck-through Charlotte) appear in this cause as ENSLAVED PEOPLE listed as personal property - NOT as children. A partial read could easily mistake that list for the heirs.
