Research note · 30 Sep 2026
AUDITED 30 Sep 2026 - FIRST NOTE. Entered as father of [198] Isaac Franklin Pace Jr., ungraded; the argument is in [198]'s note. His son's 1948 Texas death certificate, no. 82702, read on the image, names "Isaac Franklin Pace" as father, birthplace not known. The 1850 census of Sabine County, Texas (dwelling 57, read on the image) lists Isaac F. Pace, 37, farmer, real estate $2400, born Alabama, with Moriah Ann, 28, and five children; a John Pace, 50, born South Carolina, is in the same household, relationship not stated. By 1860 his wife had remarried as Mariah Jackson. A Find a Grave memorial, seen only in the FamilySearch index, gives 23 Sep 1812 - 15 Apr 1853, Spring Hill Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine Co.; not yet read. His own parents are unknown; do not make John Pace his father on age alone.
