AUDITED 1 Oct 2026 - ANDREW JACKSON BARRETT, farmer of District 4, McNairy County, Tennessee; born about 1820 in North Carolina. Named as father on his son K. M. Barrett's 1928 Texas death certificate, no. 21163, item 10 (read on the image, register K942), which gives his birthplace as Tennessee. In the 1850 census, read on the image (K943), he is "Jackson Barett", 30, farmer, born N.C., with real estate of $250, his wife "Liza", 23, and a son Anderson, 2; Nathan Barett, 69, and Rhoda, 67, both born N.C., lived in the next dwelling. By the 1860 census (K944) he is not in the household of his wife, Eliza J Barrett, whose youngest son, Andrew J, was 6 months old. Children in this tree: [753] Keneth M Barrett. His death and his parents are unknown.
