May 1850'. 1900 minus 28 = 1872, against a 22 Feb 1871 licence — a census-rounded match, and it is INDEPENDENT of the licence. · Her daughter [128]'s Audited note E9225 had already PREDICTED a Tennessee origin for her, from the 1920 census recording [128]'s mother as Tennessee-born. The marriage is in Tennessee. The prediction paid. NAME OF FATHER Bob Long' and '12. MAIDEN NAME OF MOTHER Miss Susan Heffly', both Tenn. (register K277). ⛔ HELD FOR TWO REASONS: (1) NO RECORD READ NAMES BOTH WOMEN — that this is the same Elizabeth is a strong CHAIN (b. May, Tennessee, surname Long, widow, buried in Franklin Co., and the 1900 census gives her birth as May 1850 against the certificate's May 1849 — the MONTH matches exactly), not a statement; (2) that certificate's informant is 'Mrs. W.W. McBrayer' with NO RELATIONSHIP STATED, so both new names rest on an unidentified witness. ➡️ NAMED NEXT: anything tying this Elizabeth explicitly to Kenneth Barrett or to [128] — a Franklin or Titus Co. obituary, or a FRANKLIN CO.
