The certificate writes the father 'Jarrel' (one L) where the tree has [138] 'Wiley Green Jarrell', and the mother 'Lumpkins' (with S) where the tree has [139] 'Cassie Lumpkin'. A single informant's spelling does not settle a surname. ☞ THE INFORMANT IS HERSELF A CORRECTED PERSON. 'Annie Belle Jarrell' is his wife [136], whose OWN parentage was proven wrong on 22 Aug 2026 on her 1978 death certificate (register K257) - she is a Watkins, not a Jarriel, and was re-parented that day. That correction concerns HER ancestry and has no bearing on the reliability of what she reported about her husband's parents, but a later session reading both notes should know the two facts are unrelated. ⛔ HER BIRTHPLACE 'Carriere, Miss.' is new information about [139] and is recorded here only as reported on this certificate. It has not been written to [139] as a fact. SCOPE. A ring-3 link in the Woodall-Ramsay cone (root [64]). It says nothing about the parentage of [138] or [139], who remain undecided at ring 4. INFORMANT: item 17 'Annie Belle Jarrell' - his wife [136]. * She is herself a corrected person: her own parentage was proven wrong on her 1978 certificate (K257) and she was re-parented that day. That does not touch this record, but her spellings 'Jarrel' and 'Lumpkins' are one reporter's and did not overwrite the tree.
