PROOF CLASS: BOTH PARENTS = DIRECT - her 1978 Texas death certificate 51217 (Dallas), read on the image, states Eben T. Watkins [3420] and Annie Hamm [3421]; K257, reviewed 5 Sep 2026. Reported by her son; two newspaper notices corroborate. AUDITED 22 Aug 2026 - ⛔ CORRECTED: SHE IS NOT A JARRIEL. Her 1978 Texas death certificate (Dallas no. 51217, read on the image) names her father EBEN T. WATKINS and her mother's maiden name ANNIE HAMM, birthplace Georgia; informant her son Melton Jarrell. She was detached from F206 (James David Jarriel x Lucy Holland) on 22 Aug 2026. WHOSE SLOT SHE WAS IN. F206's tenth child was a real and different woman: Annie Jarriel, b. Jan 1889, d. DEC 1918, buried Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Tattnall Co., plot A9, stone photographed and reading "AT REST / ANNIE DAU OF / MR. & MRS. / J. D. JARRIEL SR." She died before this person's first child was born. Ten of F206's eleven children match the Jarriel roster exactly; position 10 is where the conflation happened. CORROBORATION, independent of the certificate. The News and Farmer (Louisville, Jefferson Co., Ga.), 13 Oct 1932, obituary of a sister: "daughter of the late E. T. Watkins and Annie Ham Watkins ... four sisters, Mrs. J. F. Jarrell of Forney, Texas" - and Forney, Kaufman Co. is exactly her recorded 1930/1935 residence. Same paper, 9 Aug 1928: "Mrs. J. [F]. Jarrell and children of Longview, Texas, are the guests of her mother, Mrs. E. T. Watkins." WHAT WAS REMOVED, and why it was not just a re-parent. Six citation objects carried an identical Fields page-string naming TATTNALL COUNTY - the 1900 Cobbtown page (Roll 222, p. 3B, ED 0129) and the 1910 Militia District 1601 page (Roll T624_212, p. 8A, ED 0142). Those are the Jarriel household, not hers; she was born and raised in Jefferson County. They sat on her BIRTH event and her NAME as well as on the two Georgia residence facts, so a re-parent alone would have left half the wrong person attached. Deleted 22 Aug 2026: Residence 1900 Cobbtown, Residence 1910 Militia District 1601, and citations C1046 C1047 C1051 C1052 C1055 C1056. The page references were read before deletion, not assumed. STILL OPEN. Her true 1900 and 1910 residences are unrecorded - she should be in the E. T. Watkins household in Jefferson Co., Ga. in both years, and neither census has been located for her. The alternate name "Annie B Jarriel" is retained but is inherited from the conflation and carries no citation; review it. Eben T. Watkins and Annie Hamm are created with NAMES ONLY: the certificate gives only their names. Find a Grave reports Eben Tarver Watkins 1860-1925 and Annie (Hamm) Watkins 1867-1949, and a Georgia death certificate for Eben T. Watkins (Jefferson Co., 1925, no. 30315) has been retrieved but NOT personally verified - those dates are REPORTED, not adopted. GRADE: parentage PROVEN on a state vital record with a child as informant, plus two contemporaneous newspaper notices placing her in the Watkins family in Texas. Registers K257, K259.
