Reopens on the Dec 1828 Casey Order Book term or the 1837-38 guardian settlements. Audited 31 Jul 2026 — his first, and his first citation. Found in BOTH censuses, and both move him out of Kentucky: 1850 South Division, SMITH CO., TENNESSEE ('George T', alternate 'George F', 49, Laborer, $4,010) and 1860 District 17, Smith Co., TN ('Geo F', 58, Farmer, $14,000 real estate plus $9,000 personal). ⭐ HIS BIRTHPLACE IS KENTUCKY IN BOTH, matching the tree — it is his RESIDENCE the tree had wrong. ⭐ Ancestry's suggested records resolve him to 'George Franklin Carpenter Sr'. Six children matched in 1850, four in 1860, ALL already in this tree — including [211] LINDSEY POWELL Carpenter, whose middle name is his mother's surname. ⭐⭐ THE GENERATION'S HEADLINE, from the seven households read together: NOT ONE OF THESE FAMILIES WAS STILL A KENTUCKY FAMILY BY 1860, and the children's birthplace column dates each departure.
