WILL OF CONRAD CARPENTER, Lincoln Co., Ky., Will Book pp. 20-21, proved Aug 1829. The clause naming THIS man, verbatim: "...to wit the heirs of my half brother George Carpenter dec'd one equal part in full with any one of my full Brothers or Sisters..." ESTABLISHES: [1075] is the testator's HALF brother, i.e. they share ONE parent, and he was DEAD by August 1829. ⭐ WHICH parent is settled by arithmetic, not by assumption: [3147] Anna Sophia Schulteli (b. 1735) cannot be his mother (b. 1746) - she would be eleven. The shared parent is therefore the FATHER, [3146] George Zimmerman/Carpenter Sr, and this man belongs to the first-wife family F908, whose mother is UNKNOWN and must stay so. Audited 27 Jul 2026 - moved out of F745 (George Sr x Ann Schulteli) into a first-wife container. Conrad Carpenter's 1829 Lincoln Co., Ky., will separates half brothers George and John from the full siblings, and Ann Schulteli (b. 1735) cannot be George Jr's mother (b. 1746 - she would be 11). The first wife's name is UNKNOWN. See ancestry/zimmerman-carpenter-junction.md.
PROOF CLASS: FATHER = ARGUMENT (13 Sep 2026, K681, Owen's grade; flag 1 unchanged). Conrad Carpenter's 1829 Lincoln Co., Ky. will calls him 'my half brother George Carpenter dec'd'; Anna Schulteli, b. 1735, cannot bear a son in 1746. Summary below.
PROOF SUMMARY (K681) - [1075] GEORGE ZIMMERMAN/CARPENTER JR, FATHER = ARGUMENT.
(1) Conrad Carpenter's will, Lincoln Co., Ky. Will Book pp. 20-21, proved Aug 1829, read on the original will-book image at zoom (K671, cit 7051), enumerates ten siblings and qualifies exactly two as half-blood: 'the heirs of my half brother George Carpenter dec'd one equal part in full with any one of my full Brothers or Sisters'.
(2) A half sibling shares ONE parent. Which one is settled by arithmetic, not assumption: [3147] Anna Sophia Schulteli, b. 1735, cannot have borne a son in 1746 - she would be eleven - so the shared parent is [3146] George Sr, and this man belongs to the first-wife family F908, whose mother is UNKNOWN and must stay so.
(3) NOT DIRECT: the will states siblingship, never 'George son of George'. The parentage is reached by correlation, which is ARGUMENT by definition.
(4) IDENTITY: the will's own description - a George Carpenter of this family, dead by Aug 1829 - is the basis, and it is the SAME identification Owen accepted for [733] Adam off the same clause in K671. It is not corroborated by any second instrument in this database, and no register row (K671, K673) supplies one.
(5) THE UPGRADE THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE, measured: K673 read the Peaked Mountain register COMPLETE on the page images and it records four of this family's twelve children. George Jr is not among them. That route is closed, not untried.
