WILL OF CONRAD CARPENTER, Lincoln Co., Ky., Will Book pp. 20-21, proved Aug 1829. The clause naming THIS man, verbatim: "...also my half brother John Carpenter dec'd heirs one equal part in full with my full brothers & Sisters..." ESTABLISHES: [3148] is the testator's HALF brother and was DEAD by August 1829 - which is consistent with the 1785 death this tree carries. He belongs with [1075] in the first-wife family F908, not in F745. ⛔ The first wife's name is UNKNOWN and no compiled source may be used to supply it. PROVENANCE: read on the ORIGINAL WILL-BOOK IMAGE at zoom, 13 Sep 2026 (K671) - sources/lincoln-ky-willbook-img36-conrad-carpenter-will-1829.jpg (right-hand page, p. 21) and ...-img37-...-end.jpg. Lincoln Co., Ky. Will Book pp. 20-21, proved Aug 1829. Register rows L4 and K671. [?] marks an uncertain reading of a surname; the kin terms carry no ambiguity.

Audited 27 Jul 2026 - moved out of F745 (George Sr x Ann Schulteli) into a first-wife container. Conrad Carpenter's 1829 Lincoln Co., Ky., will separates half brothers George and John from the full siblings, and Ann Schulteli (b. 1735) cannot be George Jr's mother (b. 1746 - she would be 11). The first wife's name is UNKNOWN. See ancestry/zimmerman-carpenter-junction.md.
