To Elizabith Lambeth late Elizabeth Montgomery, late Elizabith Carpenter One and one half of a Share. To George Franklin Carpenter and William Henry Carpenter and Mary Chastian, late Mary Carpenter to each: One share, Then to Lucinda M[ins], late Lucinda Carpenter, To Edmund Carpenter, to James Carpenter and to David Fry Carpenter to each... one half a Share.' Carpenter's children', calls George F. 'their father', and places 'L. P. Carpenter' in the sequence ('To L. P. Carpenter I give not any thing'). FATHER ONLY - the will names Sally as George F.'s wife, never as the children's mother; ProofMother stays 0.THE RECORD - loose original in [Original Wills]: Smith, Tennessee. Wills 1803-1870 (FamilySearch DGS 004776122, images 2847-2860; enumeration img 2847 ark 3:1:S7WF-SKYF-89; the L.
