No record states Willie bore Mozelle; the link closes because the 1910 census records Tom J Coe as SINGLE, so no earlier wife could have borne a child in 1913. See proof-summary-125-coe-mother-2026-09-04.md WHY THIS WAS NOT BLOCKED - this lane was recorded as 'the ring's ONLY genuinely blocked link ... it waits on the 2031 restriction OR on a living child agreeing to order. Not a research task.' That was written under the convention retired 3 Sep 2026. Mozelle's own 2006 Texas death certificate (restricted until 9 Jun 2031) is a route to a DIRECT statement, not a precondition for a proof. No new order and no waiting were ever required. THE ARGUMENT, three independent originals across three decades and three record classes: (1) 1910 U.S. census, Justice Precinct 4, Franklin Co., Texas, ED 0052 sheet 10b line 28, 'Tom J Coe' (Ancestry coll. 7884): MARITAL STATUS = SINGLE, age 30, b. 1880 Texas, farmer, Boarder; father's birthplace ALABAMA, mother's birthplace ALABAMA. IDENTITY rests on those two parental fields, not on name and place: [127]'s father [129] John P. Coe was b. Benton, Lowndes, Alabama and his mother [130] Prudence Mae Weatherford b. Covington, Alabama, with birth year, birth state, county and occupation all agreeing. This record does not merely fail to contradict the link - it EXCLUDES a prior wife. (2) 1920 U.S. census, Winnsboro, Franklin Co., Texas, T625_1804 p. 21B ED 59 (coll. 6061 rec. 62780038), read WITH ITS RELATIONSHIP COLUMN: Tommie Coe 40 Head; Willie Coe 39 Wife; Melba 8 dau; Mozell 6 dau; Mabel 4 dau; Eyelyin 3 dau. NOTE the limit: 1920 records relationship TO THE HEAD, so 'Daughter' is Tommie's daughter and this record ALONE leaves a stepmother reading open. Record (1) is what closes it. (3) Franklin Co., Texas, County Court (Probate) case 731, Oct Term 1923, sworn petition read verbatim 25 Aug 2026 (K330): 'WILLIE COE ... the surviving wife of J.T. COE, deceased ... left surviving him the following children, to-wit: MELVA COE, a girl 12 years old, MOZELLE COE, a girl 10 years old, and MAYBEL COE, a girl 8 years old, EVELINE COE, a girl 7 years old, and TOMMY COE, a boy 3 years old, all of whom reside with your applicant.' It also fixes his death at 10 Jan 1920. (4) [127] is FatherID in EXACTLY ONE family in this database and [128] is MotherID in exactly one; F82's five children match records (2) and (3) name for name and age for age. CROSS-CHECK nobody arranged: the 1920 census, taken as of 1 Jan 1920, catches Tommie ALIVE as Head, and record (3) independently states he died 10 Jan 1920 - two record classes agreeing on a nine-day window. LIMITS AND WHAT IS NOT CLAIMED - (a) the 1910 sheet was read on Ancestry's record panel, NOT on the manuscript image; a manuscript read is cheap hardening and is the named optional next step. (b) NOT CLAIMED: Tommie was boarding with James F Barrett 55, Bettie Barrett 35 and Annie Barrett 21, and Mozelle's mother is a BARRETT - but the tree gives [128]'s parents as [753] Keneth M Barrett and [3424] Elizabeth Long, and NO James F Barrett appears. Using that household to evidence this maternity would be grading with the link being proved. It is a LEAD for [128]'s OWN parentage and nothing more. (c) Willie was 39 in 1920 (tree: b. 22 Dec 1880), so about 32 at Mozelle's birth - unremarkable. (d) OVERTURNED BY: a marriage for [127] before 1910, any record of a prior wife, or a manuscript reading showing the 1910 marital-status field mis-transcribed. UPGRADES TO DIRECT on Mozelle's 2006 Texas death certificate, or any record naming Willie as her mother.
