PROOF CLASS: BOTH PARENTS = DIRECT (reviewed 4 Sep 2026). His 1935 Arkansas death certificate states the father in field 13 and the mother's maiden name in field 15.

Temple', BIRTHPLACE 'Essex Co., Va.'; field 15 MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME = 'Susan Jones', BIRTHPLACE 'Essex Co., Va.'; his own birthplace 'Essex Co., Va.' too. CROSS-CONFIRMED: his son's 1947 Texas certificate independently gives this man's birthplace as Essex County, Va. Two certificates, two states, two informants. Relevant to the audit HIGH standing against Susan Jones - this record names her.
